A New Chapter at Rosewood
We are delighted to announce that Lyra was bred to Buzz on October 16, 2026!
Confirmation of pregnancy is anticipated no later than the week of November 15, 2026. If all goes as hoped, we expect puppies in mid-December 2026, with puppies potentially joining their new families in February 2027.

Lyra is naturally cautious and reserved with strangers, but incredibly loving, affectionate, and snuggly with her family. Deeply intuitive, exceptionally loyal, and infectiously joyful, she is the quintessential “Velcro dog,” happiest when close to her people. Her playful spirit and enthusiasm for life bring endless joy to those who know her.
She is devoted to the dogs in her own pack, though selective and cautious when meeting unfamiliar dogs. Attentive, responsive, and remarkably in tune with her family, Lyra also has exceptional recall.

Buzz is a well-balanced, sweet-natured Eurasier with an exceptionally friendly personality. He has a delightful mischievous streak, occasionally engaging in dramatic toy thievery, and enjoys playful romps with both his canine and human brothers. Curious and confident when meeting unfamiliar dogs, Buzz approaches new friendships without aggression or shyness.

Health, Genetics & Responsible Breeding
At Rosewood Eurasiers, thoughtful breeding begins long before puppies arrive. Health, genetics, temperament, and adherence to the Eurasier breed standard are all carefully considered when planning a litter.
Both Lyra and Buzz have undergone extensive health screening, including evaluations of their hips, patellas, eyes, thyroid function, and genetic status for Dandy-Walker malformation. Their documented results were submitted to the United States Eurasier Club (USEC) Breeding Committee for review.
We are especially proud that the Lyra × Buzz pairing has been awarded the USEC Gold Badge.
This recognition reflects the committee's assessment that the required health testing was completed and submitted before breeding, the pairing meets the club's recommended inbreeding coefficient, and Lyra and Buzz complement one another in both conformation and temperament.
While no breeding can guarantee perfect health, we believe careful planning, transparency, and responsible breeding practices provide the strongest possible foundation for our puppies.
